Lake Blackshear Homeowners Association
Minutes of Annual Meeting
October 11, 2005

The meeting was held at Group Shelter BUilding #2 at Veterans State Park and was called to order by President George Cook at 7:00 P.M.

The Officers attending were President George Cook, Vice President Les Barnett, Secretary Wilson Hamlett and Treasurer Debbie Powell. The Directors present were Robert Powell and Billy Williams.

The Membership and Treasurer's Report was given by Debbie Powell, and copy of the Treasurer's Report was distributed along with the minutes of the July 14, 2005 meeting. Debbie reported on mosquito control, weed control and water flow.

Billy Williams reported on fishing in the lake.

Robert Powell gave the current activity going on in Worth, Sumter, and Crisp Counties. He also reported that the State Park Manager had advised that we would have to start paying a fee for the use of the Group Shelter building where we have always held our meetings. He asked if anyone knew of another place we could use for free. Everyone was asked to give this some thought.

George Cook asked Wilson Hamlett to give the Nominating Committee's report for Officers and Directors for the year 2006. The report was as follows:

There being no nominations from the floor, nominations were closed, and these Officers and Directors were elected.

Wison also reported that we would have food at the first meeting of 2006 in January. The President was asked to appoint a committee to handle the details for the meal.

The following dates have been set for the 2006 meetings:

January 10th
April 11th
July 11th
October 10th

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
