Minutes of Quarterly Meeting
July 13, 2010

Board members present were Linda Harden, Robert Powell, Debbie Powell, Chuck Willcox and Jody Slocum

Minutes from the previous meeting and the current Treasurer’s report were approved.

OLD BUSINESS

There was no old business to discuss.

REPORTS

Randell Meeks, the new Park Manager gave us an update on current events at the park. The new boat ramp is finished but the parking lot area has not been defined at this point. He encouraged the purchasing of  a Park Pass which is good for entry at all state parks.

 Peggy Rhodes,  Membership Sales Manager for the Air Evac Lifeteam, gave a report on the medical air lift services offered by Air Evac.  They have a membership program with annual fees for 1-3-5 years, starting at $50.00 for a one member household, $55.00 for two, and $60.00 for three members. The benefit of membership means that Air Evac will accept whatever your benefits provider pays as payment in full for your flight. The flight team is based at the Cordele airport and serves the surrounding area.  She pointed out how important the memberships are in allowing the team to be based here.  Please contact her at 478-285-0898 if you are interested in more information.
